Job Title: Field Officers (3 Career Opportunities)

Reports to: Technical Assistants

About US:
The Ministry Of Health has received funding to implement the Uganda Sanitation Fund Programme which will play key roles in realizing its institutional mandate.

Responsibilities:
Support the Sub grantees in preparation of workplans and budgets
Technically support field activities of sub-grantees
Monitor and support sub-grantee activities
Quality assurance of work outputs of the sub grantees
Responsible for verification of results
Support Sub-grantees: conduct capacity building of lower local government level.
Participate in the review of sub-grantee proposals



Actively participate in detailed capacity needs assessment
Conduct capacity building of sub-grantees to meet the skill requirements for programme implementation and management.
Compile and send progressive reports
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Technical Assistants.

Qualifications,
The ambitious candidate should be a holder of a Bachelors' degree in environmental health sciences, engineering, social sciences, project planning and management or other relevant fields.

Skills and Experience:
A minimum of three years’ experience in the relevant field
Extensive knowledge and experience of local government systems and planning processes and field experience in the WASH sector are required.
