About US:
The Ministry Of Health has received funding to implement the Uganda Sanitation Fund Programme which will play key roles in realizing its institutional mandate.

 Responsibilities:
Responsible for periodic review of the M&E framework.
Preparing M&E tools and analytical products for M&E.
Technically support the operationalisation of MIS at all levels.
The jobholder will also initiate and supervise studies that will include but not limited to, study on sanitation and hygiene related disease trends; baselines study for the expansion districts, and the mid-term review.
Management of M&E activities in the districts



Identify capacity gaps and train staff in M&E at all levels
Responsible for the production of quarterly monitoring reports.
In charge of the preparation of bi-annual and annual reports

Qualifications,
The Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist must possess an Advanced university degree level (or its equivalent) in statistics, information technology or any of the social sciences. Prior training in Programme management/ Monitoring and Evaluation is essential.

Skills and Experience:
At least five years’ experience in programme/project monitoring and evaluation is essential.
Significant experience in sanitation and hygiene in developing countries will be highly advantageous.
