Post : Chief Magistrate (2 positions)
Qualifications:
Candidates should be Ugandans who poses an LLB degree from a recognized university/ Institution, plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center or its equivalent. any relevant advanced / Post graduate qualification(s) especially in Management, Administration, Finance, Business or Information Technology will be of added advantage
The Candidate must have served with integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness as a Senior Principal Magistrate Grade One for a period of at least 2 years or principle Magistrate Grade one for 4, 5 or 6 for the respective years
Duties:
- To hear both civil and Criminal cases
- To write and deliver judgements
- To administer and manage staff in the Magisterial Area
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
