Hudani Manji Holdings Ltd is establishing a modern and highly technological poultry facility in Semuto (Bulemezi), with the aim of providing quality conscious poultry operation and products of unmatched quality at reasonable prices for both the local and external market. Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to carry out all broiler growing activities; these include feeding birds, cleaning the sheds, and manage pests and vermin among others.
Key Duties and Responsibilities;
To maintain the feeders and feed infrastructure;
To maintain the water system, including drinkers and delivery system;
To feed bird on a daily basis;
To Monitor litter conditions and report any changes to the shed supervisor;
To Manage pests and vermin through application of the necessary pesticides and vaccines ;
To clean the litter from sheds as per the schedule;
To manage the vegetation/landscape within the farm;
To collect dead birds from the shed and report the numbers to the shed supervisor;
Handling of birds during routine operations.
Relevant Experience and Qualification;
The person should have formal education, and an ordinary level certificate will be preferable
Experience in poultry management and computer literacy is an added advantage;
Other requirements
Ability to speak English
Physical and medical fitness
