RESPONSIBILITY
1) Responsible for senior level decision making and strategic direction of the Fund. This will include developing HR strategy and workforce planning.
2) Develop, review and implement HR approved policies and procedures in line with HR best practices. Advise staff on correct interpretation and application, ensuring clear understanding of purposes of compliance.
3) Develop and manage the HR annual budget while ensuring accountability and cost management.
4) Preparation of HR reports to management and board.
5) Strategizing organizational learning and development in an effective and timely manner. This will include change management and implementation
6) Developing and managing Fund recruitment, selection and retention strategies to ensure we attract and retain the best talent
7) Oversee the development and implementation of the training and development strategy
8) Develop and implement an effective performance management system that supports and promotes a high performance culture within the fund.
9) Develop initiatives that will ensure a conducive environment for staff motivation and high productivity.
10) Oversee the management and facilitation of the disciplinary and grievance handling process.
11)Develop and Monitor HR related Service Level Agreements with heads of department to ensure efficiency, value for money and timely delivery against set targets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science or any other related field.
- Masters degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant field. A post graduate diploma or a professional qualification in Human Management is an added advantage
- Membership of a professional Human Resource Management institution
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 10 years work experience with five years of HR experience at senior management level in a large organization
