Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Uphold the implementation of the Human Resource Policy
Manage the welfare of staff
Proactively coordinate the development and implementation of the human resource development plans tor academic and support staff.
Coordinate appointment, promotions and disciplining of staff
Monitor the performance management systems
Make sure that current and prospective staff is provided with information on all policies of the University.
Monitor established staff contracts implementation
Support counseling of both students and staff
Coordinate the development and implementation of Human Resource Development plans for staff.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management
Qualifications,
The incumbent should hold a Bachelors of Human Resource management, Business Administration, Bachelors of commerce or development studies
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of five years experience in the HR field
Skills in documentation management
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Good financial skills
Computer literacy skills
