MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER – International Lifeline Fund (ILF), Uganda
Founded in 2003, International Lifeline Fund (ILF) is a private, non-profit organization based in Washington, DC. Within Uganda, ILF’s activities focus on increasing rural water access, improving sanitation conditions, and combating deforestation with fuel-efficient stoves, ILF is currently seeking to recruit:
MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER. KAMPALA (1) & LIRA (1)
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate data collection, entry and analysis for the different ILF and stakeholders’ programs (WASH and Environment)
Design program specific M&E systems (logframes, data-collection and data-entry tools)
Write various reports for programs and project stakeholders.
Design reporting mechanisms and formats for different programmes.
Clarify the main information needs of various ILF and stakeholders’ programs and tailor M&E processes to meet these information needs
Put in place quality assurance mechanisms for data management.
Develop plans for project-related capacity building on M&E.
Requirement:
Degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies or relevant disciplines or its equivalent in experience with Postgraduate training in M&E is desired
At least five years working experience in M&E, preferably with NGOs
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word. Access. SPSS and able to develop comprehensive databases
Excellent report writing skills and pays attention to details
Work experience with WASH and Environment Programs are a plus
Knowledge of the local language is a plus
Willingness to spend time in the field
High sense of responsibility and flexibility
