 Accountant -  Uganda Clays Ltd in Kampala

Uganda Clays Ltd is one major manufacturers and suppliers of clay baked building products in the Eastern and Central African region. It has two factories one at Kajjansi and another at Kamonkoli. The head offices are located at Kajjansi 14 km on Entebbe road .
Applications are invited from suitably qualified , component and dynamic individuals for the above post.
Specifications
• To-ordinate finance activities of the factory.
• Post all payments and intercompany transactions into the accounting system.
• Compile daily cash reports and reconcile to the banking .
• Reconcile monthly subsidiary and general ledger balances.
• Prepare periodical financial and management reports for submission to the head office for consolidation
• Ensure the accuracy of the inventory records
• Manage the performance and development of subordinate staff
Specification
• A bachelor ‘s degree in Commerce , Business Administration, Finance or any other business related field and intermediate stage of professional accounting qualification of recognized institution such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
• Should have completed at least stage 11 of recognized professional accountancy course.
• Computer literacy in MS-office and accounting packages
• Working experience at five years in a similar position in a small to medium sized company
• Should be having excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
