The Ministry of Local Government is seeking to recruit suitable qualified candidates for the vacant post above.
Qualifications
• The agri –business Management Specialist will have ;A Honors Degree in Agricultural Engineering or related fields and a Post Graduate Training in Management or Business Development Studies ,
• At least 10 years of experience in agribusiness value chain development with special focus on business planning and marketing linkages
• Experience in project management , contract Management and extension services,
• Familiarity with Multi-lateral Development Banks processes and guidelines, particularly pertaining to project cycle management and procurement
Competencies
• Must be a person of proven honesty and integrity with no criminal record , result oriented and proactive,
• Should have adequate knowledge of relevant government and donor policies and guidelines ,
• Ability to work independently , work under tight schedules, strong organizational and planning skills , monitoring and quality skills
• Good team building skills
