Job Title: Field-Based Partnership Facilitator
Compassion International is an evangelical Christian Child Development NGO that for over sixty years has existed as an advocate for children, to release them from poverty and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian Adults .
Duties
• Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a strong Christian witness who demonstrates a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and also faithfully upholds Compasion’s and also faithfully upholds Compasions ministry in prayer .
• Acts as an advocate for children by raising awareness of the needs and potential of children in poverty by challenging those within his/her influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children .
• Serves the local church partiner with a vision to build its capacity to achieve effective, holistic child development .
Knowledge
• Christian maturity characterized by a strong Christian testimony , a heart for ministry , and knowledge of the Scriptures .
• Bachelors degree is required with a preference towards field-related Social Sciences , Christian Ministry or Management
• A minimum of three years professional or intensive volunteer experience relevant to managing Christian ministry and/or other service activities
