Although saferworld has been developing analysis and advocacy work on conflict and security issues relevant to the region based on the premise that many of the region’s countries long term peace and development can depend on the peace and stability of its neighbors. As part of this approach, saferwolrd has established a new programme of work on sudan based out of saferworlds office in Kampala




Role
He/she is expected to lead on developing saferworld’s Sudan programme, to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships for the programme and provide strong and effective project and financial management.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in the region, preferably in Sudan. Arabic language skills are derisible.
