The AIDS Support Organisation(TASO),an orgainsation contributing to a process of preventing HIV infection, restoring hope and improving the quality of life of persons families and communities affected by HIV infection and disease, requires the services of dedicated competent innovative and results oriented person
Key Out puts
- Operational plans budgets for implementation of TASO’s programs prepared
- Technical support provided to the directors team leaders and regional managers
- Resource availed for programme implementation as planned
- Annual reports and other special reports on program implementation produced
Key Duties
- Coordinate the preparation of strategic plans and budgets for the implementation of the respective TASO programs.
- Review financial and programmatic reports and ensure programmatic compliance against programmes description
- Maximize efforts to strengthen and maintain the strategic partners and donors
- To provide oversight of sub granting strategies and coordinate proposal writing
- Review monitoring and evaluation reports on program implementation and the extent of attainment of set goals, and take necessary follow up actions
- Provide overall harmonization of the implementation of the respective TASO programs
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Health discipline or social science and training in management
9 years relevant experience,5 of which must be in senior management postions in orgainsations similar to TASO
Developments and trends in HIV/AIDS prevalence and care in Uganda and internationally
National policies and legislations relating to HIV/AIDS in Uganda
Rights of people living with HIV/AIDS
