The Human Resource (HR) department is one of the Internal Client Service departments. Overall, the HR function is responsible for key strategies and programmes that will recruit, develop, motivate and retain our most important asset - People. The department is looking for a young undergraduate to fill the position of Intern based in the Kampala office for a period of 3 months.
The general purpose of this role is to provide administrative support under the direct supervision of the HR Officer.

Main Areas of Responsities
Proper filing of staff related documents e.g. leave forms, DPMA forms, letters etc;
Photocopy and scan various HR documents;
Assist in coordinating the Annual Graduate Recruitment;
Provide other recruitment logistics e.g. follow up calls to candidates, prepare files and relevant documents;
Deliver and ensure acknowledgement receipt of PAYE, NSSF, LST and Payroll documents to relevant offices;
Prepare letters as required;
Prepare out-going HR mail; and
Assist in organising staff functions.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
A university second (2nd) year undergraduate;
Pursuing a degree in HR, Women's and Gender studies, Social Sciences, Administration or related field;
Second Class - Upper division degree per current exam results;
Have at least 17 points at 'A' Level;
Have not more than 28 points at 'O' level;
Have at least a credit 3 in English and a credit 4 in mathematics;
Ugandan citizen;
Computer literate;
Attention to detail;
Ability to perform repetitive tasks; and
High level of integrity.
