Job Description
Reports to: Director-Sustainability and Partnerships
Job Summary:
•The position holder will be responsible for spearheading strategic direction initiatives and, planning, coordination, and management of Mildmay Uganda’s integrated Public Relations, and Strategic Communications programme.
•S/He will work with both external and internal stakeholders to promote a positive image of Mildmay Uganda as well as ensure public knowledge of the services provided.
Job Requirements:
•The successful applicant will be a strong practicing Christian with a good reputation who will uphold the Christian ethos of the organization.
•S/he must have Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a relevant field, including public relations, journalism, communication, or marketing.
•S/he must have at least 5 years relevant professional experience preferably NGO exposure.
•Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as demonstrable skills in net working and collaboration; partnership management; Public Relations & Advocacy.
