Job Title: Technical Production Department
National Animal Genetics Resources Centre and Data Bank , a body corporate under the Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries .
Responsibilities
• Production and procurement of semen , ova, embryo and associated. equipment .
• Management of genetic Resources Centre farms for production of good quality stock and monitoring performance (e.g. Milk, beef).
• Production for sale of founder broad stock of fish .
• Rearing of Sire Studs for production of semen.
• Production and multiplication of well bred stock for sale to the farmers.
Qualifications
• A Masters Degree in Agriculture or Veterinary Science or its equivalent .
• A post graduate training in related themes would be of added advantage .
• Working experience of at least 5 years is required.
• Should be 35 years of age or above .
