Organization Stop Malaria Project
The Stop Malaria Project has been tasked with supporting the MOH to implement a high-quality mass campaign distribution of long-lasting insecticidal nets in all districts of Uganda .
Procurement Support
• Review of and accounting for procurement transactions to ensure adequate supporting documentation , accuracy of amounts and control over payments
• Participate in the negotiation of contract terms on a range of procurements and monitor delivery of exact specifications
• Support the procurement systems regarding tendering , evaluation , award of contracts and procurement
• Coordinate formal bids and request for proposal (RFP/Qs)
Required Skills
• Must have a demonstrated record of being a person of high integrity with handling large financial transactions and in situations where temptations is overwhelming ;
• Must have a keen eye when reviewing documentation or discussing issues pertaining to the net distribution for anything that violates compliance with the US federal regulations and the terms of the cooperative agreement
• Must be conversant with A-133 audit requirements for international and foreign NGOs
