Job Title: Laboratory Scientist
The Uganda Virus Research Institute would like suitable qualified applicants to apply for the position of laboratory scientist.

Responsibilities
• Work with the Laboratory Director and other staff to make sure the laboratory gets accredited and maintains accreditation.
• Prepares for audits where needed
• Supervise technicians in the laboratory

Qualifications
• Minimum of a degree in Biological Sciences .
• A Masters degree in Virology, Molecular Virology or related Sciences is preferred;
• At least two experience in molecular techniques such as sequencing and sequence data analyses.
