Senior Officer Integrated Programs (1 Position)

Duty Station; Western Region, Kasese Office

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Manager Integrated, the Senior Officer initiates and takes responsibility for overall planning, monitoring and implementation of the child protection, child rights governance, livelihoods and Food security, Health and Nutrition and HIV/ AIDS interventions for children affected by conflict in the district.

In addition, the person takes lead in coordination with partners in planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities as well as compilation of the project reports.

The Senior Officer may be called upon as and when necessary to support the emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.

Academic background, Experience & Person Specifications;

Bachelors’ Degree in the field of Social Sciences. A post graduate qualification or its equivalent will be an added advantage.

Minimum of 3 years teaching experience working in the HIV and child protection project context.
