4. Senior Officer Assets (01 position)
Duty Station; Kampala
Job Purpose:
The Senior Officer Assets reports to the Logistics Manager and is responsible and accountable for effective and accurate assets management by receiving, storing, recording and dispatching to the programmes at country level and for the Kampala office.
In addition, the job holder ensures that all assets are registered, tagged, tracked and accounted for in accordance to the agreed programme activities and in compliance with Save the Children resources utilization priorities, systems, policies, procedures.
The Senior Officer may be called upon as and when necessary to support the emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.
Academic background, Experience & Person Specifications;
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Administration, Social Science or Development studies. Experience in assets management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in similar position preferably with an international NGO.
