Job Title: District Planner

Serere District Service Commission is seeking to recruit suitable applicants for the vacant post above.
Qualifications
• An Honors Degree in Economics, Statistics and Quantitative Economics from a recognized University plus a post graduate qualification in Planning and Management from a recognized University
Duties
• Formulating , developing and co-ordinating District Development strategies, plans and budgets .
• Providing technical support to department in preparation and production of District Development Plan .
• Coordinating , monitoring and evaluating performing of District Development Plans,
• Programs and projects
Experience
• Should have at least six years of working experience as a planner three of which should have been at senior level in public or republic or reputable Organization.
