Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the registrar in the administrative duties of the assigned registry
Performs judicial functions within his/her jurisdiction in a given court
Makes monthly reports on the position of the cases in the court of judicature
Assists the registrar in the management of court premises, equipments/tools and other logistics
Plans and manages court sessions in consultation with the registrar
Supervises staff directly under him/her
Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisors
Working experience
Should have worked in the courts of judicature for at least 3 years as an assistant registrar or 6 years as chief magistrate, or 3 years as senior principal state Attorney.

Secretary, judicial service commission, farmers house, P.O Box 7679, Kampala to be received not later than 19th august 2013
Note applications should bear the title of the post applied for as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an LLB degree from a recognized university/institution plus a post graduate diploma in legal practice from the law development center, Kampala Uganda or its equivalent. Any relevant advanced/post graduate qualification(s) will be of added advantage
