To establish and maintain independent and efficient machinery for administering justice for all in Uganda, through recruiting, training and disciplining judicial officers and promotion of public awareness and access to justice

Applications are invited from suitable and eligible Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts currently available in the courts of judicature

Duties and Responsibilities
Handles the day to day ditties of the assigned registry
performs judicial functions within his/her jurisdiction
makes monthly reports on the position of the functions in his/her jurisdiction to the chief registrar
Responsible for the premises, equipment/tools and other logistics under him/her
Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor
Responsible to the Chief Registrar

Working experience
Should have worked in the courts of judicature for at least 3 years as a deputy registrar or 6 years as an assistant registrar

Applications should be submitted, in triplicate, to either JSC or PSF 3 and submitted to the
Secretary, judicial service commission, farmers house, P.O Box 7679, Kampala to be received not later than 19th august 2013
Note applications should bear the title of the post applied for as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an LLB degree from a recognized university/institution plus a post graduate diploma in legal practice from the law development center, Kampala Uganda or its equivalent. Any relevant advanced/post graduate qualification(s) will be of added advantage
Applicants should attach their up to date Curriculum vitae(cv) accompanied by 10 recent passport size photographs of their face and a copy of the latest written declaration form of income, Assets and liabilities to the inspectorate of Government, IGG (where applicable)
