Mission
To establish and maintain independent and efficient machinery for administering justice for all in Uganda, through recruiting, training and disciplining judicial officers and promotion of public awareness and access to justice
Applications are invited from suitable and eligible Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts currently available in the courts of judicature
Serves as professional/technical Head of Registrars and Magistrates in the courts of judicature
Assists in the formulation and implementation of polices, systems and procedures for the effective and efficient administration of justice
Assists in providing administrative, logistical and personnel management services to support the smooth running of the judiciary
Regularly reviews the structural systems and procedures of the courts for purposes of achieving effectiveness and control
Co-ordinates and monitors activities ot the court
Conducts regular physical inspections of courts to assess performance
Any other duties assigned by the chief justice, deputy chief justice or principal judge
Working experience
Should have worked in the courts of judicature for at least 3 years as a registrar or 6 years as a Deputy registrar

Secretary, judicial service commission, farmers house, P.O Box 7679, Kampala to be received not later than 19th august 2013
Note applications should bear the title of the post applied for as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an LLB degree from a recognized university/institution plus a post graduate diploma in legal practice from the law development center, Kampala Uganda or its equivalent. Any relevant advanced/post graduate qualification(s) will be of added advantage
