About SMP:
The Uganda Stop Malaria Project (SMP) is a six-year USAID funded initiative awarded in September 2008. The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners led by Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health Centre for Communication Programs (JHUCCP). The other partners are Malaria Consortium (MC), Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) and Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), Conference Services and Travel Coordination.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts the traditional duties of a receptionist including: o answering visitor inquiries about the department,
Directing visitors to appropriate contacts, o sorting mail,
Answering incoming calls, and o arranging appointments for visitors o welcoming guests
Answering incoming calls and routing them to officers responsible
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a recognized University.
Previous experience of working with similar tasks is preferable to work independently and respond to feedback in a timely and professional manner
