1. Departmental leadership:

MSU complies fully with MSI's finance policies and procedures, which are reflected in a complete and well disseminated MSU finance manual.
MSU is consistently increasing surplus generation in a designated number of cost centres
Efficiency measures are introduced and impact monitored
MSU can finance all of its activities and all of MSI's direct and indirect costs.
