WWF is one of the world’s largest independent and experienced Conservation organizations operating in over 100 Countries in the world. WWF UCO implements a number of national programmes promoting environment conservation in Uganda.





The M&E Specialist will provide leadership to WWF UCO team, in designing, implementing programmes, documenting lessons learnt, and building staff capacity. Additionally they will provide technical support, monitor and evaluate programmes suitable for conservation work. They will internally work closely with the Senior Management team at the Uganda Country Office, Project Coordinators & Managers, in guiding Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for both the Conservation and Operations team. Externally they will work with implementing and donor partners, including Government and Non-Government representatives.

The candidate should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or related subjects; an advanced degree will be an added advantage. Also required is a minimum of 7 years working experience in monitoring and Evaluating environmental related issues and/ or development context. A good understanding of Programme development steps and Project Management Standards is required.

The position will report to the Country Director and will be based in Kampala with occasional visits Up-Country.
