REPORTS TO: CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

PURPOSE: To proactively take the lead in managing Security and

investigations for the company.

Key Result Areas

• Review the physical security risks faced by the company in order to enforce security policies and procedures

• Manage security and fire control systems

• Conduct security audits and initiate risk control measures.

• Manage the security service providers.

• Continuously assess and ensure optimum level of security control intervention (human and electronic) appropriate for Vision Group

• Handle all security incidents affecting staff, clients and assets and escalate each significant incident to the relevant authority.

• Continuously develop programmes to promote security awareness amongst staff.





• Constantly monitor security equipment and ensure maintenance and upgrade are in line with the required standards

• Investigate, manage and escalate all fraud cases to relevant authorities.

Qualifications, Experience and competencies required;

• Graduate/ Diploma in relevant field.

• At least 5-6 years job related experience required.

• Computer literacy is essential

• Unquestionable integrity

• Physically fit and mentally alert

• Able to work odd hours

• Excellent analytical skills

• Good listening skills

• Knowledge of the security environment and security products and equipment

• Knowledge of security procedures and legislation

• Experience in investigative skills

• Must have contacts and a good working relationship with relevant security organs
