CUSTOMER CARE ATTENDANT - NATIONAL MEDICAL STORES UGANDA

Job Title: CUSTOMER CARE ATTENDANT 
Grade: NMS GRADE 9 
Reports to: CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE 
Location: Arua 
Purpose of the Job: To provide back-office support to Customer Care
Representative and to provide in-house front desk service.

National Medical Stores is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of Parliament 1993. Our mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and other medical supplies to public health facilities.

We are now looking for competent persons who possess appropriate skills, knowledge and right attitude to fill vacant position which has arisen as a result of our expanded mandate. Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant post within the Corporation. National Medical Stores is an equal opportunity employer.

KEY RESULT AREAS

1. To answer customer inquiries at the Regional Office

2. To receive documents, record them and arrange for their delivery to NMS Headquarters

3. To receive and direct all internal and external calls to appropriate destinations

4. To Serve as a Front Desk Person of the office

5. To perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor

QUALIFICATION (Person Specifications)

1. At least a Diploma in business or related discipline

2. Computer literate

3. A minimum of 2 years (relevant) experience in handling customers.

4. Training in customer service is an added advantage.


5. The applicant must be fluent in the two most commonly spoken languages in the area where the office is located.
