National Medical Stores is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of Parliament 1993. Our mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and other medical supplies to public health facilities.

We are now looking for competent persons who possess appropriate skills, knowledge and right attitude to fill vacant position which has arisen as a result of our expanded mandate. Job Purpose: Provides support for Human Resource Management and ensures accurate Human Resource Management Information
KEY RESULT AREAS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.         Updating and keeping an accurate record of employee’s data and mid

month advance payment requests.

2.         Receiving applications and summarising all information on every application

for short listing purposes.

3.         Managing and computing monthly overtime for staff for final payment

4.         Monitoring and keeping track of expiry dates of employees’ contracts

5.         In-charge of monitoring and verifying invoices for staff welfare that include drinking water and staff tea

6.         Assisting the Human Resource Management Officer in managing routine Human Resource tasks assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS (PERSON SPECIFICATIONS)
1. Honors’ degree in-:

(a)       Human Resource Management or

(b)       BBA specializing in Human Resource Management or

(c)       Any other Bachelors degree with a module in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management


2. At least a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management

3. 2 years experience in managing Human Resource or Personnel matters

4. Experience in using Human Resource Soft ware packages
